Handel - Largo

Handel's famous Largo, originally an aria ("Ombra mai fu") from the opera Xerxes. For decades this has not only been a staple of vocal recitals, but has also been a favorite transcription for many solo instruments.  Published here for the first time in a new edition for bass and piano.  The accompaniment is also suitable for harp or organ.
